Together Women is a national trailblazer in developing gender-specific, trauma-informed services for women affected by the criminal justice system.

I worked closely with the Head of Strategic Development and CEO to create a long-term vision for their social media presence that would reflect their work, values, and communications objectives.

This strategy was part of a larger communications package, that included a digital media plan, style guide, a content creation system, and six weeks of one-to-one digital training.

Here’s what was included in Together Women’s Social Media Strategy:

✺ Goals and objectives Aligned with their communications goals, and defining what Together Women wants to achieve through social media.
✺ Audience Profiles To understand who the organisation is talking to, and what their content needs are.
✺ Content Audit To understand what is and isn’t working with their existing social media content, and build on that.
✺ Channel Guidelines To define what type of content each channel is best used for, and which audience to reach on different platforms.
✺ Content Plan I developed an extensive content calendar, in line with their communications goals, aimed at different audiences and channels.
✺ Brand Guidelines To ensure consistency in branding, voice, and messaging across all social media channels.
